Hadley School is seeking an inclusion specialist to support students in our Learning Academy, an inclusion program for students with behavioral and emotional needs.
Required:
Master’s degree, DESE certification - Students with Moderate Disabilities, PreK-8; at least three years of experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and accommodations to students with behavioral/emotional and academic challenges
- Complete evaluations, write IEPs and progress reports
- Develop behavior support plans and collect data to inform progress and interventions
- Facilitate social skills groups and incidental teaching techniques for social skills using the Zones of Regulation and Social Thinking programs
- Consult with general education teachers, support staff and specialists
- Supervision of ABA tutors and consultation with them regarding student behavior plans, accommodations, and data collection
- Communication with families
- Use of technology such as Zoom, Google Suite, Google Classroom, Seesaw, etc.
