Job Goal:             Responsible for the development and administration of efficient and professional operations of occupational health services in accordance with company policies, practices, procedures, and applicable regulations. Your duties may include performing pre-employment testing, providing essential medical services in the workplace, and operating wellness education programs for employees.

Reports to:         Superintendent of Schools

Location:            Will be determined

Responsibilities: Occupational Health RN has general knowledge and would specifically be tasked with managing the health and wellness of all students and staff during the Covid 19 Pandemic. The occupational health nurse would work under the Superintendent of School and directly with HR of the Town. 

• Covid 19 testing process, if employee or student tested positive, leave of absence and finalize return to school and work policy and follow up. 
• Manage employees that have been furloughed for testing
• Educate and answering questions about testing in general
• Evaluating and Testing persons for Coronavirus
• Return to Work, Worksite spread control and Prevention
• Preparing and maintaining healthy workplaces
• Return to work algorithms 
• Non-test based strategies 
• Discontinuation of Home Isolation for Asymptomatic Covid staff/ students 
• Recording workplace exposures to Covid 19
• Employee Education
• Education on mask wearing
• Guidance on cleaning and disinfecting
• Resources and Guidelines for Workplace 
• Implementation of safety practices for staff/ students
