SHS School Psychologist - Short term Substitute (.6 FTE) The School Psychologist supports students at Swampscott High School with behavioral and emotional needs. Job description: Complete evaluations in terms of cognitive abilities, social/emotional skills, adaptive skills, attentional abilities, etc. Collaborate closely with all team members including inclusion specialists, other members of the Special Education team, general education teachers and administrators Communicate with parents/guardians and outside service providers Maintain accurate records of work All other related duties as requested by supervisor. Other criteria: Flexibility/ability to juggle multiple demands Strong communication skills Team player Job Requirements: Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a current Mass. DESE School Psychologist license Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred Master degree preferred Citizenship, residency or work visa required |
