Swampscott High School is seeking a dynamic educator to join its Mathematics Department. We are seeking an energetic, flexible, enthusiastic teacher who has experience teaching high school students. Courseload could include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II and other courses as needed within the department.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math required.  Master’s Degree preferred.
• MA Math  9 -12 teaching license.
• SEI Endorsement preferred. 
• Two years high school teaching experience.
• Knowledge of Aspen, Zoom, Google Classroom, and G-Suite Apps.

Prefered candidates should also have:

• Familiarity with Smartboard technology and using graphing calculators/Desmos.
• Experience designing and implementing engaging lessons.
• Positive classroom management techniques and be responsive to student diversity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with colleagues, administrators, and parents
