Literacy Tutor Job Description ~ Hadley School 2021-22
The literacy tutor will provide literacy support services as part of a multi-tiered support system. The literacy tutor will work with the literacy specialist and classroom teachers to provide targeted intervention to students not meeting benchmarks in grades K-4.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to work within a push-in or pull-out teaching model, providing small group and individual instruction.
- Collaborate and communicate with classroom teachers regarding appropriate interventions.
- Develop lesson plans to meet specific needs of students.
- Progress monitor, administer assessments, and analyze data. *Knowledge of BAS is preferred.
- Communicate student progress to families and educational team.
