Long-term Substitute - August 30 - December 23

The successful candidate will plan and execute lessons for a class of Kindergarten students using materials and curricula provided by the school. The Long-Term Substitute will attend the professional development day at the start of the school year, and be provided with clear goals, expectations, and support from colleagues and school administration. 

A paraprofessional will also support the students and teacher. 

The Johnson Elementary School uses the Fundations program and Fountas and Pinnell Classroom to teach reading, Everyday Math and IXL for mathematics, and Mystery Science for science. 

Salary is in accordance the Nahant Teacher's Association contract.
