Swampscott High School is looking for a dynamic educator for grades 9-12. Ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic, and passionate about the job.

Responsibilities include:

• Ability  to create and maintain a welcoming, positive, and structured classroom climate with high expectations for each student.
• Provide specialized instruction, modifications and accommodations to students in an inclusion setting with grade level curriculum in all content areas.
• Complete evaluations, write IEPs and progress reports
• Provide specialized instruction and accommodations to students with disabilities including learning disabilities
• Facilitate instruction through a co-teaching model for students
• Communication with parents

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current and valid MA license as a high school special educator; SEI Endorsement is required
• Endorsement in Students with Moderate Disabilities preferred
• Masters degree preferred
• At least two years relevant teaching experience. Co-teaching experienced helpful but not necessary. 
• Technological expertise preferred: experience working with Google Classroom / G-Suite Apps / Online Credit Recovery Programs 
• Such additional qualifications as Swampscott High School may find appropriate and acceptable
• Background in math/science preferred 
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
