Swampscott High School has an opening for a  phenomenal biology  teacher to join a team dedicated to providing students with authentic learning experiences.  We are interested in candidates that have experience teaching freshman biology, co-teaching  and life science electives.   Additionally, our new teammate must bring their  enthusiasm, sense of humor, and willingness to connect with students.The ideal candidate will have the following: a strong academic background in biology, enthusiasm for offering varied classroom experiences, strong curriculum development skills, experience in data-driven learning and a professional MA teaching license (8-12)  in biology. 

Requirements:

• Professional MA Biology teaching license 8-12
• Master’s degree
• SEI endorsement required
• 5  years teaching experience
• Citizenship, residency OR WORK VISA for  United States required
