Day Custodian - Full Time
Job Summary :
A qualified individual is being sought to serve as the Day Custodian at the Johnson Elementary School.
Extended school hours required on school days - 180 days per year. Non school day work hours to be determined.
$ 23.50 to $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overseeing the custodial services at the Johnson elementary school.
Cleaning assigned areas and grounds.
Inspecting and securing the facility.
Responding to immediate safety and/or operational concerns.
Communicating and acting as liaison with repair, inspection, maintenance,
and facility improvement contractors.
Consulting with Administrative personnel on school related issues.
Ordering supplies and equipment.
Overseeing the replenishing of or distributing supplies, materials, mail, packages,
furniture, etc.
Documenting activities.
Some weekend work required for additional compensation
Working with other personnel to maintain a clean, safe, sanitary and attractive environment.
Experience in a supervisory position and knowledge of HVAC and building maintenance preferred.
