Job Overview

ABA Tutors support students with autism and/or emotional disabilities in whole group, small group, and one-to-one instruction, in and out of the general education classroom. Students will require various types of assistance across their full school day including support with communication, social-emotional behavior, academics, motor skills, and/or activities of daily living including toileting (as needed) and eating.  They are caring professionals motivated to work with students with disabilities, develop new skills through ongoing training, and work collaboratively.

Physical Requirements: 

This position may require long periods of standing, walking, and sitting; talking or hearing in person and by telephone; using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; reaching with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The individual may be exposed to ultraviolet lights as are found in computer monitors and copying equipment. The individual may be exposed to various hazards in the building.
